About the Project

 

Nowadays a lot of young people have professional and vocational skills but lack entrepreneurial skills. Youth Re-working Rural project intends to foster sense of initiative and entrepreneurship among young people living in rural areas and to stimulate them to be entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs through setting up co-working spaces in currently abandoned spaces.

 

The project aims to promote quality youth work in rural areas and offers several benefits such as ideas exchange, collaboration, future opportunities, professional growth, high quality skills and competencies.

The main objective of the project is to promote co-working spaces as a concept to reconvert abandoned spaces and encourage entrepreneurship culture among young people as a new form of employee-driven innovation.

The specific objectives of the project are:

Promotion of employment and entrepreneurship in European rural areas by increasing young people’s capability to reconvert empty spaces to host co-working and activity hubs

To foster youth entrepreneurship, networking, training, and new opportunities for local development

To promote skills and competencies for the development of co-working spaces among youth
